RANDY HOUSER RETURNS TO VAPOR NIGHT CLUB
1/25/2013 10:36:27 AM
SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY (January 25, 2013) – On the heels of a brand new CD, released Tuesday, Randy Houser plans to return to Vapor Night Club for a live performance on February 7.
His current single, "How Country Feels" from the newly released album of the same name, is at #1 on the charts this week. It was also the first song played on Nash FM 94, New York City’s first country radio station in 17 years, which launched Monday morning.
Houser’s first hit was as a songwriter. "Honkey Tonk Badonkadonk" was recorded by country star Trace Adkins in 2005, and was co-written by Houser, Jamey Johnson and Dallas Davidson. It quickly became a hit. He then began performing and released his first hit, "Anything Goes," in 2008. The title-track song from his first album grew to a top 20 hit on the Billboard country charts before it was released in November of that year.
Another single from that album,"Boots On," led Houser to be nominated for two 2009 CMA Awards, in the categories of New Artist of the Year and Music Video of the Year for the Top Five hit.
In 2013, Houser will be part of the Locked and Reloaded Tour with Dierks Bentley and Miranda Lambert, which kicks off April 18 in Syracuse.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show begins an hour later. As always, guests must be 21 and older to enter Vapor. Tickets are $20 if purchased in advance, available at saratogacasino.com. The price of admission will increase to $25 the day of the show. Discounts are available for the casino’s Player Extras Club members.
Houser’s last performance at Vapor in March of 2010 sold out.
